Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) has distributed a notice to grantees. Over the last year many Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) have migrated to a new EMR, this has caused added stress to the UDS process. It is imperative that UDS data be validated, and, in some cases, many FQHCs are faced with merging two data sets from two EMRs.

Let Fisher Consulting Group assist and be an extension of your practice during the UDS process. FCG consultants have a wealth of knowledge and experience in UDS reporting, edits and submissions. FCG also has knowledge of many EMR products allowing for assistance in data merging from an agnostic approach.

Email distribution from HRSA:

As part of the Health Resources and Services Administration’s (HRSA) ongoing mission to increase health center compliance, conditions will be applied to all health centers that fail to comply with UDS data reporting requirements and requirements within the Health Center Compliance Manual.

Health centers must submit timely, accurate, and complete UDS reports by February 15th. Failure to do so will result in a condition being placed on their award. A late, incomplete, or inaccurate UDS data may render the health center ineligible for a Quality Improvement Award.

For more information on UDS reporting compliance, please see chapter 18: Program Monitoring and Data Reporting Systems of the Health Center Compliance Manual.
